A catalyst for consideration of social and ethical issues in engineering

Sidney & Ann Braudy and Louis & Edith Manker Workshop on Business Ethics in Engineering

In 2008, Dr. Robert S. Braudy (’65, M.Eng. ’66) and Judith A. Braudy made a gift to the History and Ethics of Engineering Program in order to create an annual workshop on engineering management ethics. The workshop is named in honor of Dr. Braudy’s parents and maternal grandparents.

The workshop was offered to senior undergraduate and master’s students in engineering, as well as M.B.A. and law students at Cornell, from 2009 to 2019. For more on the history of this workshop, visit its archive page.

The workshop is expected to return in Fall 2025. More information will be available soon.
